How can you remote control the repeater on and off without being an expensive remote controller

I have a dr-1x running firmware version 1.00n but I do not have the setup button show up in the mode/remote screen. I see that you are running version 1.00m.  I have not been able to find a copy of version 1.00m.  Can you send me an active link? I would like to be able to remote inhibit my repeater.
