Repeater DR-1X firmware

Anybody know where I can find the latest DR-1X firmware? Yaesu site seems to only have DR-2X.

Our repeater has taken to transmitting a continuous high pitched tone and I would like to see if a firmware update might fix it.

Anyone ever tried to use the "FR" Yaesu DR-1X repeater for MMDVM? Zimmerman believes is "may" be possible to get D-Star running on one. I was asked by a local Ham group to try and get it running...don't want to waste my time if it's been tried and can't be done. Thanks folks.

So I need help with my decision, I’ve spent a long time review and still lost. The plan is to connect the DR1X to allstar. So what is the best quality and direct. Which of the following would yield the best results?

requirements :::
- repeater will be at a remote location
- wish list solar power (determine later)

DR-1X DR1X --- Help resolving a noise issue

We have a DR-1x running on 2 meters 146.655 with a pl of 114.8. We are experiencing an intermittent interference / Noise issue (Sound like ack welding) on the squelch tail at the end of a transmission. This noise / interference will take out weak stations and at times lock up the repeater. We do not experience this issue on digital mode, nor does it happen at the end of the CW ID. We have monitored the input frequency and do not detect any interference. We have checked the duplexers, coax and changed the antenna. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the DR-1x or know of a possible cause?

My openSPOT1 is configured with the reverse TX/RX of our local DR-1X repeater.

When I key up the repeater with a radio the openSPOT hears nothing.

Is this due simply to signal strength or is there something in the C4FM packet that will never allow this to work?

I have tried Full/Half and A-B-C-D-E-F and Half Calibration which resulted in C. I have tried DN wide and DN narrow and VW on the radio. I don't have administrative access to the DR-1X.
