Anyone ever tried to use the "FR" Yaesu DR-1X repeater for MMDVM? Zimmerman believes is "may" be possible to get D-Star running on one. I was asked by a local Ham group to try and get it running...don't want to waste my time if it's been tried and can't be done. Thanks folks.
The short answer is no. Yaesu removed the 9600bd capability on the 15 pin connector. If you connect internally to the data port on the receiver and transmitter, you may be able to get it to work, but not on the external connector.
